Well when I finished the last book in the series I had a feeling that things were only going to get bigger and better in the next book (this one), even though the last one knocked my socks off and I was not disappointed!
I must just say, Veiron = 100% total and utter YUM! I would quite happily be on the receiving end of one of his salacious grins!
Erin is fab, I love the relationship between these two - sassy and full of whit.
Again the world building is amazing, the romance sweeps you up and satisfies you with the hot as hell love scenes, the turmoil and heart wrenching pain that the characters go through makes you ache for them, and once again the storyline that Felicity has written blows you away - those Epic fight scenes that Felicity writes so well do not disappoint in this book either, you literally feel like you are in the room avoiding hell's angels and black power with them.
I loved the last book and this one has taken it to a whole new level! I cannot wait to get into the next book in the series (and it is already lined up on my kindle).

Book Description:
A demonic angel with a heart of ice, Veiron walks a dark path with vengeance on his mind. Nothing will sway him from his mission to destroy his master... until he risks his life to enter Hell once more to save a mortal female. The fiery beauty makes him burn with hungers he must battle and needs he cannot deny, tempting him to surrender body and soul to her.
Erin is convinced her refusal to do the Devil’s bidding will see her die in a terrifying realm straight out of her nightmares. The last thing she expects is the lethally sensual warrior who breaks into her cell and awakens the darkest desires of her heart and a fierce longing to know the heat of his caress.
Pulled into an incredible world where war is set to ignite and darkness is on the rise, Erin races with Veiron to escape the Devil’s legions in a journey fraught with danger and filled with passion that flares white-hot.
When Erin is faced with a life-shattering realisation and an extraordinary destiny, will their love give them the strength to battle both Heaven and Hell or will they be parted forever?

Her Guardian Angel (Her Angel, Book 4) By Felicity Heaton
This was another fabulous instalment of the Her Angel series, some of the battles in this book are epic, the turmoil that the characters go through is palpable. The world is built amazingly and the characters paths and stories are interlinked and superbly written. The storyline is amazing, how Felicity keeps coming up with these great stories is beyond me.
I have loved every minute of this story, it's got everything, romance, hot as hell love scenes, betrayal, loyalty, mystery, intrigue, turmoil, battles of will and epic fight scenes and yet I still feel as though we are working towards an even bigger storyline in the future books (if that is even possible!)
I cannot wait to dive into the next book.....Bring it on!

My Big Fat Demon Slayer Wedding (Biker Witches Mystery, Book 5) by Angie Fox
Fabulous, I have loved all of these books and each one has been even better than the last!
We really see lizzie come into her own and finally she has realised that she has a family and people that love her and make her a stronger person! It's been an emotional journey.
Dimitri oh my, please tell me there is a Dimitri shaped mould somewhere and that someone has started up a production line, I mean just how much swoon worthiness can one man (or sexy shapeshifting griffin) contain?
It was good to finally meet people from Lizzie's pre demon slayer life and lovely to see them accept her new life even if it was a little reluctantly at first, especially after the knock back from her biological father in the last book.
As always there is guaranteed hilarity whenever the biker witches, Pirate and Flappy are in tow and this book is no exception.
I really hope this isn't the last book in the series but if it is then it is indeed the perfect ending to what has been a fabulous journey!

Book Description:
Lizzie Brown is about to have the destination wedding her dreams. But as this former preschool teacher knows, being a demon slayer makes everything more complicated. The vengeful Earl of Hell is still on her tail. And now it seems that one of the guests at the eccentric, seaside mansion is possessed and trying to kill her. Maybe she should just elope.
The groom, studly shape-shifting griffin Dimitri Kallinikos, vows to protect her at all costs. Yet even he is acting suspicously. And minions of the devil are popping up everywhere. Now Lizzie must protect her socialite mother, her Greek inlaws and her grandmother’s gang of biker witches – all of whom are convinced they know what’s best for her, and her big day. As the wedding draws closer, Lizzie has to learn who is behind the attacks – and fast – or risk losing everyone she loves.

Last of the Demon Slayers (Biker Witch Mystery, Book 4) by Angie Fox
They get better and better - Lizzie once again has proven herself to be even more of a bad ass, butt kicking demon slayer and has a few more tricks up her sleeve!
Dimitri is, although I didn't think it possible, even more swoon-worthy in this book and finally asks a very important question!!
Grandma and the biker witches are still hilarious and even Grandma get's caught in a very compromising situation under a tree naked with a hippy! Go Grandma!!!
Max makes a return along with....another demon slayer! But wasn't Lizzie the last one? I hear you ask, hell no there are yet more lovely twists in this book and again a real nasty piece of work of a bad guy to be banished!
We meet Lizzie's real Dad - using two faced slimebag he is too!
Pirate keeps the awesome one liners rolling in and Flappy finally learns how to sit!

Book Description:
Lizzie Brown would like to have one normal date. Instead, she gets a towering inferno with a message: her long-lost dad is a fallen angel in danger of becoming a demon. Not good. Especially since she’s a demon slayer.
Her grandma advises her to stay out of it. Her sexy-as-sin shape-shifter boyfriend would much rather she devote her attention to more carnal pursuits. And her dog’s one demand is for more bacon. After all, he can’t train his pet dragon on an empty stomach.
But Lizzie knows there’s no other choice but to hop on her Harley and help her dad—even if the search for the truth brings a bad-boy slayer back into her life and leads her into the middle of a war to end all wars.

A Tale of Two Demon Slayers (Biker Witches Mystery, Book 3) by Angie Fox
This books picks up right after The Dangerous Book For Demon Slayers, with Dimitri and Lizzie finally heading off to Greece for some "alone time" and to see his sisters finally after saving them in the first book An Accidental Demon Slayer.
However things do not go to plan, Grandma decides that Lizzie's official Demon Slayer training is to take place in Greece and as such her and the other 37 biker witches turn up and pitch camp on the grounds of Dimitri's idillic Villa, then arrives her trainer the enigmatic Rochmort (he's an interesting character) add to that Pirate the dog finding a new pet, an ex fiance of Dimitri's and her brother, Dimitri's sisters continuing to loose their powers rather than gain them. Oh and Dimitri has a secret to tell Lizzie that could spell disaster literally for the world and puts Lizzie in grave danger but I wont tell you about that because I really think you should read it instead (you won't be disappointed!)
Lots of plot twists and an epic battle at the end - same great writing, onto the next instalment!

Book Description:
In this third installment of Fox's red-hot, hilarious paranormal series, Lizzie and the gang travel to Dimitri's home in Greece where they are confronted with his past . . . and an unwelcome family secret that could destroy them all. Original.

The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers (Biker Witches Mystery Book 2) - by Angie Fox
I LOVE this series, unfortunately I made the mistake of finishing this book and literally jumping straight into the next one so its all kind of melded into one long story and I don't feel like I can review this book properly! Note to self made for next time: Don't read the next one until you have reviewed the first one!! But I enjoyed it so much i couldn't help myself and had to dive straight in.
Dimitri is as hot as ever in this book but I did start to worry and him and seriously thought he and Lizzie would be over by the end!
Heaps of sarcasm and hilarity throughout this book from Lizzie, Grandma and the rest of the crew. Fab story line, brilliant creepy as hell baddies - and the wonderful Pirate who is not only a talking dog but now plays scrabble and can count too!
Get yourself involved read this series its a wonderful easy read that has you laughing out loud one minute and crapping it the next.

Book Description:
Demon slaying powers should come with an instruction book ...
Seriously. Why does a new hair dryer have a twelve-page how-to manual, but when it comes to ancient demon-fighting hocus-pocus, my biker witch granny gives me just half a dozen switch stars and a rah-rah speech? Oh, and a talking terrier, but that's another story. It's not like my job as a preschool teacher prepared me for this kind of thing.
So I've decided to write my own manual, The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers, because no one tells me anything. Dimitri, my "protector," may be one stud of a shape-shifting griffin, but he always thinks he can handle everything by himself. Only he's no match for the soul-stealing succubi taking over Las Vegas. If I can't figure out how to save him - and Sin City - there'll be hell to pay.

Hunger (Vampires Realm, Book 8) by Felicity Heaton
Slipping back into this series is, for me, like settling into a comfy chair, I love this series!
It still amazes me how Felicity Heaton can write these books that are part of a series but can also be read as stand alone (except the first 3 they must be read together) and still make sense, if that makes any sense! Each book is part of the bigger story and they all go together to give you the bigger picture.
Her world building in these books (and all of her others) is second to none, she writes about the struggles between love and duty very well and her descriptions of how the characters are feeling throughout the story really make you feel like you are going through the emotions with them.
This story follows more along the story line of the enhanced hunters and the midnight plot. Our main female is Eve, she has some real issues that need to be addressed, like the fact she spent her human life hunting vampires only to be betrayed by someone she trusted and loved which resulted in her death and now she has become the one thing she hated about all else, a vampire. But not just any old weakling vampire, she is a pureblood of the Vehemens bloodline, which came about due to some genetic manipulation carried out by her mother.
Enter our fabulous lead male Tor (sorry I need a moment..... its difficult to mention his name without going weak at the knees and dribbling like a fool) he is yet another fantastic lead male (Felicity writes strong lead men that you never fail to fall for). Tor has been tasked with the job of escorting Eve to her new home, being the mansion of the Vehemens bloodline. Her sister Lilith is mated to the head of the Vehemens bloodline, Lincoln (oh dear the weak knee problem has just cropped up again) and he has sent Tor to bring her home safely and protect her against everything, including herself.
Soon after their journey starts, it becomes apparent that this mission isn't going to be easy, someone is trying to kill Eve, Tor learns that she has revenge on her mind and when he hears why he swears to assist her in getting her revenge, cue some rather steamy scenes, and then the plot thickens, not only is the person she is hunting for revenge still trying to kill her, but he is also a large part of the midnight plan, can Tor help Eve get her revenge, can they and the Law Keepers prevent the next step of the Midnight plot coming to fruition, will Eve and Tor have their happily ever after?
You will have to pick up the book to find out!
Enjoy!!!! (I certainly did, I cannot wait for the next instalment)

Book Description:
Betrayed by one of her own and turned into a vampire, hunter Eve is consumed by her hunger for vengeance and has spent five years surviving hell, driven to take the life of the man she once loved. But just as she is about to close in on the hunter-turned-vampire, an event is set in motion that threatens to see him slip beyond her grasp forever—the leader of her bloodline has sent an escort to bring her to the family’s mansion. To a nest of the very creatures she once hunted and loathes.
A vampire assassin hardened by centuries of service, Tor is a man of discipline and loyalty, never straying from his mission or the rules set out for him, and has purged all his weaknesses, including his emotions.
But the moment he meets the broken, fiery female he is to escort to Oslo, something dangerous awakens in him, something possessive and powerful, and when he is pulled into a deadly game of cat and mouse with the man who betrayed her, Tor discovers he will do anything to protect the woman slowly claiming his heart and give her the vengeance she desires—even break all the rules.
Can Eve embrace her new vampire nature in order to have her revenge and find a reason to live again in Tor? Can Tor and Eve stop the man who betrayed her and the deaths of thousands of innocents? Or will he succeed in creating a new army of hybrid vampires who will rise up against the purebloods?

The Book of Life (All Souls Trilogy #3) by Deborah Harkness
I have loved this trilogy, all of the characters are wonderful and I have waited (a long time) since the last book to finally find out what happens to the delectable Matthew de Clairmont and his lovely Diana Bishop and also I was keen to uncover the secrets of the Ashmole 782!
P.S. I think I may be slightly in love with Gallowglass!
Unfortunately due to other books that I was reading I didn't have time to read the first two in this series again before starting the final book, which meant the first chapter of The Book of Life was a little disorientating for me as I struggled to remember names etc but by chapter two I was hooked, I really struggled to put it down and had quite a few days sporting some seriously heavy bags under my eyes due to reading well into the early hours the night before - hey ho who needs sleep when there is a wonderful story unfolding on the page in front of you.
The end of the book came, and lots of questions were answered BUT more were raised in my mind! I literally read the end and thought this cannot be the end surely there will be more books to come (and I sincerely hope there will be!) We got the end of Matthew and Diana's story (well as far as the Asmole 782 is concerned and their family) But I do feel that the Gerbert issue needs to be resolved (Knox got his just desserts and so should Gerbert!) and what about the item that Phillipe's ghost gave back to Diana??? surely there must be more to come. I definitely feel the need for Gallowglass' story to be told and also would love to see how the twins grow once their powers have been realised.
I am not sure the close was satisfying enough for the end of the trilogy - or perhaps it's because I felt so vested in the characters that I am just disappointed it is over!

Book Description:
After traveling through time in Shadow of Night, the second book in Deborah Harkness’s enchanting series, historian and witch Diana Bishop and vampire scientist Matthew Clairmont return to the present to face new crises and old enemies. At Matthew’s ancestral home at Sept-Tours, they reunite with the cast of characters from A Discovery of Witches—with one significant exception. But the real threat to their future has yet to be revealed, and when it is, the search for Ashmole 782 and its missing pages takes on even more urgency. In the trilogy’s final volume, Harkness deepens her themes of power and passion, family and caring, past deeds and their present consequences. In ancestral homes and university laboratories, using ancient knowledge and modern science, from the hills of the Auvergne to the palaces of Venice and beyond, the couple at last learn what the witches discovered so many centuries ago.
With more than one million copies sold in the United States and appearing in thirty-eight foreign editions, A Discovery of Witches and Shadow of Night have landed on all of the major bestseller lists and garnered rave reviews from countless publications. Eagerly awaited by Harkness’s legion of fans, The Book of Life brings this superbly written series to a deeply satisfying close.

Tempted By A Rogue Prince (Eternal Mates Book #3) by Felicity Heaton
Let me start by saying that no one can make you fall in love with a twisted, tortured soul like the author of this book, Felicity Heaton, can!
Our main hero is Vail, an Elf prince that was tricked into 42 centuries of abuse and made to do things that haunt him by a dark witch named Kordula, she used a prophecy that Vail's Ki'ara (Fated Female/Eternal Mate) would be witch and tricks Vail into believing that it is her, from there she uses her power against him, following her death (shame, NOT) he has found himself roaming the black lands of hell whilst fighting the darkness within him that threatens to overtake the last sliver of goodness that remains in his heart. He has lost his homeland, his people hate him because whilst under her spell he killed thousands of them and most of all he fears that he will never be able to call Prince Loren (his story is book one of the series) his brother again. His only aim in life now is to kill any witch that he comes across as punishment for Kordula's actions, when he meets one the darkness rises up and takes over him and often wakes to find himself covered in blood with no recollection of what he has done but he knows that whatever or whoever he has killed, he enjoyed doing it.
The beginning of this book really lets you into Vail's mind, you get a real sense of the desperation and how deeply his centuries of abuse have affected him, Felicity writes this well and your heart aches for this unfortunate soul. Whilst on the verge of loosing himself completely he is taken prisoner by the new King of the Fifth Realm, King Bruan who has a score to settle with Vail's brother, Prince Loren, as he and his Elf army assisted King Thorn of the Third Realm in a war against the Fifth Realm ultimately ending in the death of the original King who was also Braun's brother.
Vail is badly injured during his capture and is shut away in a cell, a young witch named Rosalind is brought to his cell to heal him. We have met Rosalind before, in the last book, she was instrumental in the outcome of the war and assisted the good guys (aka Prince Loren and King Thorn) in their victory over the Fifth Realm, but the end of battle saw Rosalind being taken prisoner by the Fifth Realm demons. She is a good witch who uses light magic powered by nature not dark magic powered by the grave. She was also given a prophecy that one day she would meet and Elf Prince and shortly after would die, she narrowly avoided meeting Prince Loren in the last book but still managed to assist him in the war.
She has no idea who he is or that he is an Elf Prince, and despite the pleas of another cell mate, and incubus named Fenix, who begs her not to heal the male or they will all regret it. Rosalind cannot let another being suffer when she has the ability to heal them. She heals Loren and he really has to fight the darkness within him which senses she is a witch and immediately calls for her blood.
Rosalind herself suffers terrible nightmares, she has always used her powers for good and for healing, but during the war was forced to take lives to save her friends and the soul of every life that she took haunts her and she fears that the darkness will consume her and make her use dark magic like the rest of her family.
This is an interesting time in the book, because both Vail and Rosalind are conflicted (as they are during most of the book), he has a bone deep hatred of her kind that the darkness within him wants to kill, but he also has instant instincts to protect this little female for reasons he cannot fathom, again Felicity writes the turmoil in his head as he struggles to process his feelings brilliantly.
Rosalind too has a natural aversion to him as her prophecy says that she will die shortly after meeting an elf prince, but again is drawn to him by something inexplicable.
Vail, Rosalind and Fenix escape and the journey they take is not only one of survival as the demons of the Fifth Realm are in pursuit, but one of discovery, not only of who they truly are but also a discovery of love, and how they can heal each others darkest issues and balance each other out. Throw in some awesome battle scenes and some rather steamy episodes (both of which Felicity writes particularly well) and you have everything a girl could want in a book.
I loved this book, this author is one of my favourites, her world building is genuinely amazing and you feel as though you know her characters as you read through the pages. This was welcome addition to Eternal Mates series and has left me hungry for more. I just have this feeling that Bleu (Prince Loren's right hand man) is going to end up being the Hyperion or Snow of this series, if you have read Felicity's Vampires Realm or VET series of books then you will know what I am talking about it :) if you haven't read them, then what the hell are you waiting for, go get started now and add the Eternal Mates series to your reading list, you will not be disappointed, I promise!

Book Description:
An elf prince on the verge of losing himself to the darkness, Vail is maddened by the forty-two centuries he was under the control of a witch and forced to war with his brother. Now, he roams Hell seeking an escape from his terrible past and the heads of all who bear magic. When demons of the Fifth Realm capture him, he sees a chance to end his existence, but when he wakes in a cell to a beautiful female, he finds not death but his only shot at salvation—his true fated mate.
Captured by the enemy of the Third Realm when the war ended, Rosalind has spent months in the cells of the Fifth Realm with her magic bound, forced to heal the new king’s demon warriors, and haunted by the lives she has taken. When she’s brought to heal an unconscious man, she discovers her only hope of escape has come in the form of her worst nightmare and the first part of a prediction that might spell her doom—a devastatingly handsome and dangerous dark elf prince.
Unwilling to fall under the control of anyone ever again, Vail must escape before the Fifth King can use him as a pawn in a deadly game of revenge, but he cannot leave without Rosalind, the woman who looks at him with dark desire in her stunning eyes and awakens a fierce hunger in his heart. A witch who drives him mad with need even as the darkness within whispers she will enslave him too.
Can Rosalind escape her fate as they embark on a journey fraught with danger and resist the temptation of her rogue elf prince? And can Vail overcome the memories that madden him in order to seize his chance for salvation and the heart of his fated female forever?

The Accidental Demon Slayer (Biker Witches Mystery, Book 1) by Angie Fox
I really liked this book and will definitely go on to read the others in the series because I found it to be a very funny, enjoyable, creepy, scary and occasionally hot, bit of escapism that was very easy to read.
Some readers have commented on how unreal the whole story is - but hang on a minute - isn't that why a lot of us read fiction? I mean witches, vampires, griffins, werewolves, demons and the like aren't real so why should everything else in a book be real and believable? why shouldn't an author bend or break the norm to send us on a journey of escapism! That's certainly what I like to look for in a book when the mood takes me!
I like Lizzie, she has just the right amount of sass, however she annoys me when she keeps saying she wants to go back to her old life when quite clearly deep down she doesn't but then that's kinda part of the story, finding her true self and accepting her destiny.
Pirate the talking Jack Russell is hilarious and is a great addition to the cast.
Dimitri, what can I say about him other than where the hell can I order myself one of him! (Yum)
As for Grandma Gertie and the rest of the Biker Witches, they rock! and they had me laughing out loud on many occasions whilst I read it.
So for great light-hearted easy read that has you laughing your socks off on one page and cowering behind a cushion at the scary/creepy bits on the next page - go on, give this book a go!
